Four day long weekend in South Beach, Miami. Sand, sun, and extremely fit people…what more could you want?
Accommodation: The Miami Beach International Hostel ranges $20-40 per night and includes breakfast, lunch, dinner – nothing fancy but let’s be honest, we didn’t come here for the food!
Activities: Citi Bike the Boardwalk, promoter night clubs on Nikki Beach, play sand volleyball in Lummus Park, graffiti park in Wynwood, walk the South Point Pier, drink the famous slush at Wet Willy’s, shop on Lincoln Road Mall, check out the hot bods at Flamingo Park, and maybe relax on the beach.
Transport: Found great flights using skyscanner & US Airways to book a round trip LGA – MIA (arrive Saturday, depart Tuesday) for a shocking price of $193!
Budget: *Goal $500* Actual $544.18! (did pretty well considering about $75 was spent shopping)
no I did not do this segway tour…but I wish I had.
beautiful colors all along the beach!
Spent the morning hiding from the wind, until I met this great fitness group!
Then they asked me to join, and I couldn’t say no!
Later met some cool Aussie gals in the hostel. We stayed out all night dancing! Turns out they were in Florida for a dance competition.
We clicked so spent the next day exploring!
Rode bikes along the boardwalk with my English friend, Lily.
Spent the last morning in Wynwood, near the airport, and viewing this cool graffiti district!
